Ankara Üniversitesi Dil ve Tarih Coğrafya Fakültesi Genel Türk Tarihi Araştırma Görevlisi Muzafferüddin Kökböri, the head of Erbil Principality (Atabeylik), was a famous Turkish statesman in the XIIth century. He was reknown world-wide for his important social achievements, a great part of which involved his special activities in opening the child care center and a variety of reformatories for abandoned children as well as other social institutions such as mosque, guesthouse and hospital in the Erbil Principality.
