Abstract

This study was performed between October 2009 and June 2012 among children aged seven years and older who were admitted for circumcision. The children were asked to choose one from among pictures on the informed consent form of a non-circumcised, circumcised and partially circumcised penis. Eighty-seven children preferred the non-circumcised penis, 15 preferred the circumcised, and only 5 indicated the partially circumcised penis. According to this study, children are satisfied with their own non-circumcised penis and do not have any other cosmetic expectation.

Keywords: sünnet, penis görünümü.
