Abstract
Diaper dermatitis is one of the most common skin disorders. We present two cases with iatrogenic Cushing syndrome due to topical steroid therapy including clobetasol 17-propionate (Dermovate), betamethasone 17-valerate (Betnovate C) and mometasone furoate (Elocon). Since chronic topical steroid therapy can result in hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis dysfunction, we emphasize the importance of warning parents about potential side effects of topical steroid creams.
