Abstract

Oculo-auriculo-vertebral spectrum (OAVS) describes a combination of congenital abnormalities including microtia, facial asymmetria, vertebral anomalies, epibulbar dermoids and lipodermoids. The patients with OAVS may present with minor or major abnormalities. OAVS is associated with different chromosome aberrations and different inheritance patterns, although in most cases no chromosome abnormality has been detected. In this report we review the clinical and laboratory findings of seven patients, with special emphasis on OAVS in follow-up.
