Carbon monoxide intoxication (CO) is an important cause of morbidity and mortality during the winter in our country. We report here three cases of CO intoxication admitted to our hospital. When they were found at home in the morning, the father was dead, and the mother and their three children were unconscious. Two of the children were treated with hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) in addition to the classical oxygenation treatment. We review CO intoxication and discuss the indications and the results of HBO treatment which is available at only a few centers in our country.
