Abstract
Müntehab is the first medical book offered to Sultan Mehmet I. The author, el-Mardânî, wrote this book in Turkish in c. 1430 its using contemporary Arabic and Persian medical sources. The whole book consists of ten articles. In this article, a special section on jaundice (in the seventh article; section 18) is given in original form.
